The main emotion, by which the "Right Sector" is driven today, is chauvinism. In modern community of the European right-wing forces (I mean political, not subcultural entities) it's unacceptable. However the "Right Sector" managed to win over to its side the passionate subcultural youth from the South and the East of Ukraine who are bent for Russia. But why have "Chernomorets" and "Shakhtar" fans supported the "Right Sector"? That's because there was no Russian political alternative, neither in ideological, nor in organizational field, whereas the "Right Sector" has an ideology — perhaps, scanty and chauvinistic, based on an extremely narrow pantheon of heroes (Bandera, Shukhevich & Co), but still quite a real one. Something is always better than nothing.
