In greek language the words "rise" and "east" has the same meaning and the same word. This word is "anatoli" (Ανατολή). The group is named "Anatelousa Europi" (Ανατέλλουσα Ευρώπη) and means "Rising Europe". "Rise" and "East" (in greek "Anatoli") is symbolic for the organization, because it believes that the rising of the European soul will be in the natural geographic East on Europe, Russia.

The "Rising Europe" started as an internet blog to show and provide the meta-ideology of Eurasianism in Greece, which it considers to be the only solution against the liberalism and the one-pole world system. The supporters of the "Rising Europe" believes Alexandr Dugin to be a great modern-times philosopher and geopolitician, who knows the way to save the world’s economy and the peaceful coexistence between people in the world.

At first, the "Rising Europe" translated Dugin’s texts and theories and published in their blog other articles which promote the traditionalism and the Eurasian theory. The "Rising Europe" is very proud that it has made Eurasianism known in their country, and their articles have been republished in many other web-sites with different ideologies. The "Rising Europe" also has relationships with other movements from all over Europe and hopes to continue its good starting and next year to organize a conference in Greece.
